Sustainable Packaging is environmentally friendly packaging that is intentionally created to minimize the environmental footprint. 

Packaging can be sustainable in many different ways; 100% recycled materials, reusable packaging, plant based packaging, choosing production processes that keep a carbon footprint in mind and many others. 

The number one mission in sustainable packaging is to create as little harm as possible to the earth. 

Sustainable Packaging extends far beyond the materials themselves but it is also the social and environmental way the company sets out their philosophies and mandates that can determine whether a company is sustainable or not.
