How It Began: The Journey Of Launching Calm Elements Skincare

Calm Elements Skincare founders Marla & Ori Bzowski were seeking a new endeavor that they could proudly embark upon together. Something that would embody the loving, natural and supportive life they share with their two wonderful children and two rescue dogs. Using natural products and living a healthy and active lifestyle has always been important to Marla and Ori. They soon recognized there was a gap in the natural skincare market. The "natural" ingredients in natural skincare products either did not work as well as artificial ingredients or weren't as "natural" as they claimed to be. The major aspect they noticed about natural skincare, was the sacrifice consumers seemingly had to make in terms of the aroma or the luxurious feel of the product. We shouldn't have to choose between what is healthy for our skin, what works, and what feels the most luxurious.

This led Marla and Ori to discover the opportunity to create a line of skincare products that the entire family could enjoy. Given both their entrepreneurial mindsets and their passion for health & wellness, they decided that creating a fully natural, sustainable, and cruelty-free skincare line was the ideal avenue to explore.

Luxury Skincare You Can Feel Good About

Marla and Ori recognized early on that the Cosmetic Industry contributes to over 120 Billion units of packaging globally and only 9% of that is recyclable or made from recycled packaging. These figures are alarming and immediately made them want to be part of the solution and not another contributor to this problem.

Calm Elements was created with the intention to provide natural skincare with honesty and integrity. Operating from our hearts on a foundation of good creates a ripple that goes out into the world. Marla and Ori want to create products that would provide wholesome, natural, and ethical quality without compromising on the luxuriousness all wrapped up into a completely recyclable package that we and you can be proud of.
