Carrier Oil is an essential oil that is used to dilute essential oils when using them directly on the skin.

They are called carrier oils as they directly carry the oil onto the skin for massage or aromatherapy techniques.

Almond, coconut, vegetable, avocado, argon, rosehip and jojoba are commonly used carrier oils.
